Your order is custom-built to your specifications and cannot be returned for any reason other than warranty repair or service. If I make a mistake placing your order – I pay to make it right. If the manufacturer makes a mistake – they pay to make it right. If you provide the wrong measurements or you don’t order samples in advance – you pay to make it right. And when mistakes are made, regardless of whose fault it is, the cost to make it right is expensive.

This section is being offered to you so you know your rights and responsibilities before you order. We don’t have hidden charges, we don’t have warranties or disclaimers with hidden (or too small to read) text and we don’t make it impossible for mistakes to be fixed. Q: Is my information secure
This site uses industry standard security protocol Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encode sensitive information like your credit card number that passes between you and our servers. We employ the latest 128-bit encryption technology in all areas of the site which require you to provide your personal or account information. This means that the credit card information you send is encrypted by your computer, and then decrypted again on our side, preventing others from accessing your private information in between. So, when using an SSL capable browser, shopping on our web site is perfectly safe.

This web site takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the web site, your information is protected both online and off-line. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. No sensitive information is ever transmitted in plain text.

While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just ‘surfing’.

Q: Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is only required in our resident state of Vermont. Therefore, all orders made by customers residing in our state will be subject to sales tax.

Q: What are my payment options
We accept a major credit cards. We will also accept personal checks or money orders by mail. If you choose to pay by check your order will be held until funds clear the bank (2-10 working days). Please send checks or money orders to:

Q: Do you accept international orders?
We are sorry. At this time we do not ship internationally. We require a Shipping and Billing address in the United States.

Q: When is my card charged?
Your credit card is not charged real-time on the Internet. All orders are processed at one time within 24 hours after they are received except on weekends. Your credit card will be charged before your order is filled. Once your card has been successfully billed and your order verified you will be contacted via email. Orders may NOT be cancelled once this takes place. If you wish to cancel an order you must do so within 24 hours.

The charge will appear on your card as Limb Corporation our parent company.

Q: Can I make changes to my order?
Orders must be changed within 24 hours of ordering (prior to processing). If you realize that you forgot or miss measured a window and your order has not been processed you may contact us during normal business hours to make the necessary correction.

Q: What if I need to cancel my order?
Orders must be cancelled within 24 hours of ordering (prior to processing). We cannot cancel an order after it has been processed. Please do not ask us to do so. It is not possible to cancel an order when materials have been allocated and cut for YOUR windows. Thank you for your understanding.

We do not accept cancellations via email. Please call our toll-free number at 1-888-660-2546 within the 24-hour period specified above if you wish to cancel.

Q: Can I return my order?
Please remember that our products are custom made to fit YOUR windows. It is impossible for us to re-sell a product that has been made to your measurements, color, and/or style. It is because of this that we do not accept returns.

If you receive a product that we miss measured or miss built this would covered by our guarantee and we will replace it FREE of charge.

Q: Can I get a refunds?
Once your order has been filled we cannot issue refunds, rebates, or discounts. Please remember that our products are custom made to fit YOUR windows. It is impossible for us to re-sell a product that has been made to your measurements, color, and/or style.

Q. What is the warranty?

Most of our vendors offer a lifetime limited warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. These warranties are typically valid for the original purchaser only and contingent upon proper installation and use.

Every product page has a section much like this that details the warranty information specific to that product and manufacturer. It is your responsibility to know your rights and warranty limitations.

To obtain service under this warranty, you need to contact Accent Blinds & Shades by phone at (888) 660-2546 or by fax at (877) 684-6188 for replacement, repair or to request a return authorization. Accent Blinds & Shades will arrange shipment from your place to the manufacturer and then the manufacturer will pay for shipping the product or replacement back to you anywhere in the continental United States. Special arrangements will have to be made for orders outside the 48 continental states.

Q. What is your privacy Policy?
We respect your privacy and all information collected on  this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed. Any information you give to Accent Blinds, will be handled with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways that have not been outlined below.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email us.

Payment Information
When you purchase window treatments from us, we collect standard payment information, including your credit card number and billing address. We use this information to process your purchase only.  We do not share this payment information with any other companies or third parties. We use secure encrypted connections to transmit your payment information, including your credit card number. We store your payment information in encrypted form and we limit the employees that have access to this information. In addition, we require that all of our employees agree and adhere to a confidentiality policy.

Manufacturers have access to your address and phone number
All products on this site are shipped direct from the manufacturer, who must have your phone number and address to ensure proper delivery of your order. Our vendors will only contact you if there is a question with the shipping address and/or UPS asks them to call you if they're having trouble locating the address. From time to time if our office is busy and they want to expedite your order they may call you if a question arises. Our vendors will never contact you to solicit your business. Not through email, postal mail, smoke signals or phone calls. 

Sale or Disclosure of information
We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease any personal information collected at our site, including membership forms or email lists.

We analyze our website traffic logs so that we can have a better understanding of what our customers are looking for when they enter the site as well as do they find it on our site. By doing this, we hope to be able to improve the value of the products and services we offer on this site. Our website traffic logs do not identify visitors personally, and we make no attempt to match them with the individuals that browse this site.

Accent Blinds uses non-identifying cookies only when transferring items you select from the shopping cart to the secure checkout page.
