When you want privacy, roller shades continue to offer the most practical method of window shading. Roller shades have long been the ideal window covering for public buildings, factories, hospitals and schools where there is a need to control solar glare or provide total blackout.
However, for these very same reasons roller shades are also ideally suited for the residential market. Even more so when you consider the child safety factor (standard spring control eliminates lift cords), and the fact that the typical vinyl/fiberglass collection like ours are relatively inexpensive. A 35” x 67” roller shade will run you about $35.00 bucks – less than a wood blind but more than a mini blind.

No Charge Options
Standard Spring Control » No Charge
The standard spring control relies on the
tried-and-true reliability of the classic
Spring Roller shade. Completely cordless,
you simply grasp the shade by its bottom hem
and pull it down to whatever length you
want. A gentle tug releases the spring's
lock and allows the shade to be gently
raised. Spring roller shades are cost
effective and provide the smallest amount of
light gap on inside mounts.
Roll-Ease Style Clutch System » No Charge
Clutch control gives an added degree of control and also allows the shade to be made in larger sizes. The clutch roller is operated by an easy beaded chain control. Pull the front chain to raise the shade; pull the back chain to lower it. A constant tension clutch stops the shade wherever you want it to stop.
Reverse Roll » No Charge
The fabric on a standard roller shades rolls off the back of the roll. When fully extended the fabric will be closer to the window. With reverse roll the fabric rolls off the front of the shade.
Decorative Ring Pulls - Charges Apply
Pulls are supplied with screws and are not attached to the shade to avoid damage during shipping. The Wooden Ball, Jute Pull and Wooden Pebble are color coordinated at the factory to match the fabric.

Inside Mount Specifications
Due to hardware requirements, there are edge light gaps on all roller shades. These can vary slightly based on shade size and shade material. To avoid light gaps, outside mount is recommended.
Spring Tension
Will have up to a 1/2" inch light gap on each side of the shade.
Clutch Lift System
Will have up to a 5/8" inch light gap on each side of the shade.
Outside Mount Specifications
Depending on the type of hardware selected (Spring or Clutch) the fabric will have 1" to 1-1/4" deducted from the width of the fabric. This is to ensure that the fabric does not rub against the installation brackets or control mechanism. It is recommended that you add 1-1/2" to 2" of overlap on each side for ultimate light and privacy control.
