panel configuration includes T-Posts. |

Note:
Many of the panel configurations above require the
use of a T-Post which is a vertical
post inserted into the shutter frame. In large
openings where there are several windows divided by
some kind of vertical post or mullion.
T-Posts enable you to configure the shutter
to match the existing window design.
T-Posts
provide added strength to wide shutter frames and
T-Posts provide extra spacing
between the louvers and window when the louvers are
tilted in the full “view through” position.
You will repeat this step for every T-Post in your
panel configuration. Measure Window Size:
From left edge of window or Max Frame
to Frame: from left
edge of Frame to the
center of the first vertical post or mullion - record that
measurement. If there is a second T-Post - do the
same thing - if there is a third do the same again. Always remember
to start at the left side to the center of the
vertical post/mullion. Never measure from one
vertical post/mullion to another.
Use the example in the picture above and you'll be
fine. |
