Our Express "cut-down" or "ready-made" program is designed for those looking for custom-built quality without the custom-built wait. This is not a cheap line of window coverings. In fact, the Express 2" faux wood blinds are made from the same materials as are used in the custom-built Kingwood-B 2" Faux Wood Blinds. More below..

There are a couple of key differences:
1. There are fewer colors, no options and no upgrades. These are the key factors behind the low cost. By limiting these items and by mass producing in stock sizes the manufacturer actually reduces their unit costs. When you order, a pre-fabricated blind in your color and in a size closest to yours, is then hand-cut to size based on whether you selected an inside our outside mount.
2. Rather than a lifetime limited warranty the Express line carries a 1-year warranty against defects in craftsmanship or materials. The reason for this is the same as above. When you offer a lifetime-warranty you have to factor into the cost of your custom-built product an expected increase in the cost of raw materials. You wouldn’t want to replace a broken slat 5 years from now for $5.00 that cost you $1.00 five years before. Well, with this line the costs to repair are going to be relatively close to what it cost to make the blind originally, so there’s no need to factor in inflation as you would with the life-time warranty.
