This is a rear view of the arch - note that part of the arch will install inside the opening and part of it will overlap from 1-3/4" to 2" on the outside. If you have decorative trim or are mounting above/over existing window shades you should have 2-1/2" of free space around the opening.

• Use a steel tape measure for all measurements
   
• Measure the inside width of the window opening at the bottom of the window to the nearest 1/8th of an inch
   
• NOTE: Make sure  you have at least 2 1/2 inches of unobstructed depth in your arched opening

• Place arch in center of window opening to insure proper fit
• Locate three pre-drilled holes in outer frame of arch (see fig.1)
• Make sure arch is level in the window
• Using a pencil, mark the hole positions inside the frame of the window
• Drill pilot holes at the marks inside the window opening
• Use the screws provided to fasten the arch to the inside of the window opening
• Do not over tighten the screws as this will damage or bind the arch from operating properly
• If the arch is not centered in the opening, you may tighten or loosen the screws to adjust the positioning
